Gotta tell ya that the hotel area has its own energy, early in the morning there — one that's not all over Manhattan. Quieter, more residential-feeling and genuinely lovely to wander through before the city has fully roused.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Henri Hotel on 24th Street in New York. Upon arrival, seeing the small lobby made me a little apprehensive about the room. The staff was very friendly; they welcomed us since we arrived in the early morning and allowed us to leave our luggage until we could check into our room. Upon returning from our first activities, we were pleasantly surprised to find our room—a great size, extremely clean and tidy, and a bathroom in perfect condition with delicious hot water. The hotel also has a lovely restaurant, staffed by very attentive people, and the food is top-notch. Congratulations on the excellent service; we promise to return!

Love this hotel. There are no words to describe the incredible service. A huge shout out to Gaddy and Jennifer who make walking into the hotel, like walking into someones' home. They are kind, professional, fun, and human. They make this hotel 6 stars! The rooms are clean and the location is incredible. Thank you Hotel Henri for making staying in NYC so amazing.

We had a great stay at Hotel Henri. The rooms were reasonably sized, the bed was comfortable, and we didn’t hear any noise from the outside. The staff at the front entrance were friendly and helpful. I guess the only issue we found with the room was that the shower would spill all over the bathroom floor, but that was fine since we had slippers. The location is great and I would stay here again.

I was looking for a place in Chelsea to stay with my son for a visit to the city. We booked directly with the hotel for the best rate. We arrived from LGA and used the subway to get to hotel which was very close to quite a few lines. We checked in early. The building and lobby were attractive and staff helpful. There was a very popular restaurant attached which we did not try, but we grabbed some water and headed up to our room which had a cute little view of the next building. The room was great… large bathroom and great shower. It did leak and so we needed new towels each day and they were provided. The AC was a little tricky and at first our TV did not work during March Madness but Jennifer came up and figured everything out. There was a fridge, coffee maker and electric kettle in the room and microwave in the basement. There was a rooftop bar with a cool vibe. There was a place to storage luggage ( feel free to tip) and a restroom in the basement to use after the 11am check out. I am 100% a Marriott girl but I will be back to Hotel Henri for sure. The price, the location, the rooms and the staff were all top notch.
